Cologne Airport, also known as Cologne-Bonn Airport is the gateway to the cities of Cologne and Bonn in Germany. This Airport is situated in the district of Porz approximately 15 kilometres south-east of Cologne and 16 kilometres north-east of Bonn in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.

The airport was constructed in 1939 originally as a base for the German Luftwaffe. After the Second World War the British Royal Air force took over the airport and expanded it and a new runway built.
